Greek myths

Can you write like Homer?  Not Homer Simpson! Homer the ancient Greek poet. He wrote two of the oldest stories we know about. The Iliad is a poem about the war between the Greeks and their enemies the Trojans. Remember the wooden horse with the soldiers hiding inside? That  comes from The Iliad. The follow up poem is called The Oddessy. It’s about all of the madness that happened on the way back from Troy:  sirens, the Cyclops and that sort of thing!

So why not have a go at writing your own Greek myth. When you’ve finished, send us your story and we’ll add it our pantheon. (Pantheon is the Greek word for a Hall of Fame!)
